The experience

For fishermen, there is both deep-sea fishing (with charter service for fishing trips) in the open sea and sport fishing in the lagoon and on the Tagliamento, the river that runs east of Bibione, to catch especially trout and carp, which are particularly popular with German guests: every year events and competitions are organized (remember the Palombo d’oro) that always involve many enthusiasts and sympathizers with their families.
Sea Sporting Fishing Portobaseleghe is an association born out of a passion for the sea and fishing. Members, knowledgeable about various fishing techniques, are available to those who would like to approach this sport to provide them with guidance on where, how and when to go fishing in the lagoon and sea in front of Bibione as far as Croatia. The association organizes various activities including competitions and a free fishing course for children in August.
